About A2 Nacionalidad: what it is and how we create and verify the material

What we are and what we are not

A2 Nacionalidad is an independent practice project for people preparing for the A2-level Spanish test required for Spanish nationality through residence. We are not affiliated with Instituto Cervantes or any public authority. We do not provide legal advice or guarantee any result in the official exam.

How we create the guides

• We use only official sources: Real Decreto 1004/2015 published in the BOE, the official DELE A2 exam guide, and the Instituto Cervantes exam website.
• We do not publish any figure, date, or requirement that does not appear in those sources. If something cannot be confirmed, we do not include it.
• Each guide shows its sources and the date of its latest review. A second, independent AI model checks the text against the sources, and we correct anything that does not match.
• Schedules and prices change. We recommend always confirming them on the official website before registering.

How we create the practice material

• The texts, questions, audio recordings, and tasks are original and written for A2 level. We do not copy official exams.
• The correct answers for the reading and listening tests are checked by an independent AI model that answers without seeing the answer key. We publish only questions for which its answer matches the key.
• The recordings use synthetic voices, not human voices recorded in a studio. We check them by transcribing them and using AI to listen for errors, but they have not been reviewed by a native speaker.
• The reading and listening mock exams follow the structure in the official guide: 4 tasks and 25 questions per test.

How AI assessment works and its limitations

An artificial intelligence system assesses your texts and the transcript of what you say. It identifies errors and explains them in your language. We tested it using writing samples from the official DELE A2 guide: 2 texts graded fail («no apto») and 2 graded pass («apto»). It ranked all 4 in the same order as the examiners. These are only 4 samples, so the score is an estimate for guidance only. The voice assessment, including clarity, pace, and pauses, is also automatic and for guidance only. None of this replaces an examiner or guarantees the exam result.

Your data

There are no accounts. You receive an access key when you make a purchase. We do not store the texts you write or the audio you record. Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as the seller. Full details are available in the privacy policy.

Prices and refunds

There is a free section: 1 test of each type and the first reading and listening mock exams. Full access costs 15 € for 3 months as a one-time payment, or 9 € per month. If it is not useful to you, contact us within the first 7 days after purchase and we will refund your money.
